Article : Good morning, Monday management solution for TASK 231- When the world is progressing with gender equality and encouraging women empowerment, it is natural that for global business growth and prosperous progress every country will follow the suit to encourage their citizens irrespective of gender.

Backed with a considerable deep study on Saudi Market and situation evaluation we have offered our suggestive reasoning to our client on their offered Market research TASK for their business expansion. Saudi Arabia though rich in oil production, being a pure Islamic nation once had lots of restrictions on women education, employment, and business enterprising following Sharia law. But today 91% of Women are educated and doing business. With change of times, following the modern globalization and to further improve economy, Kingdom of Saudi has allowed progression in Women Owned Business. Wearing of Societal norm of Abaya(Long gown worn by females) and scarf is remained. Saudi is one country that doesn’t allow women driving and even this was lifted in Oct 2016 allowing women to drive and Arabic women flying commercial airlines as Pilots. Supplier diversity for women-based business and women employment in Saudi Arabia is now a common sight.

To support this point we referred OFC (Oalyan Financial Corporation) a sprawling holding company, whose activities run the gamut from investing and real estate to the manufacture and distribution of foreign-brand cola, cookies, computers, and heavy equipment. Nabisco, Xerox, Colgate Palmolive and Burger King are among OFC’s Western partners. Until 2001, Lubna Olayan was the only woman working for the OFC conglomerate. Today there are more than 3000 women at 28 of its 30 companies like:

Enayah (joint venture with Kimberly-Clark) In 2002 this medical supplier hired 18 seamstresses to sew surgical gowns; they were Saudi Arabia’s first female factory workers. There are now about 600 at the company.

Saudi Xerox Agencies In 2014, Saudi Xerox won OFC’s Diversity Index award; among its 80 female employees are marketing executives.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Saudi Arabia: Three years ago this affiliate had no female employees; now they work in IT, finance, accounting, and legal, among other departments.

Nabisco Arabia The Middle East’s primary supplier of Ritz crackers and Oreos launched a woman-only production line in 2013; it also employs two female machine operators.

End point-In September 2016, an expanded coalition of more than 30 corporations and non-profit organizations made a new commitment - "Girls, Women and the Global Goals" - to spend more than $15 billion with women-owned businesses and empower more than 100,000 women entrepreneurs. Now any location in the globe has scope for women to work in their field of their expertise. This indicates that corporate are more accepting the intelligence and hard work of women and opening up women empowerment in Business associations rather than limiting them to household labor.
